Mold manufacturing, : the five major factors for the development of plastic die industry

(1) The development is unbalanced and the overall level of products is low

Although the products of some enterprises have reached or are close to the international advanced standards, there is still a big gap between the precision of the mold, the roughness of the cavity surface, the production cycle, the life and other indicators of the mold and the foreign advanced standards.

(2) Backward process and equipment, poor organization and coordination ability

Although the technical transformation of some enterprises in recent years has made the technological equipment level relatively advanced, and the equipment level of some foreign-funded enterprises does not lag behind that of foreign countries, the technological equipment of most enterprises is still relatively backward. More importantly, enterprises have poor organizational and coordination ability, which makes it difficult to integrate or mobilize social resources for our use, thus making it difficult to undertake relatively large projects.

(3) The development ability of most enterprises is weak and the innovation ability is obviously insufficient

On the one hand, the proportion of technical personnel is low and the standard is not high enough. On the other hand, the investment in scientific research and development is small. More important is the idea is backward, take seriously to innovation and development not enough. Mold enterprises should not only attach importance to the development of die, but also attach importance to the innovation of products.

(4) The contradiction between supply and demand cannot be alleviated in the short term

In recent years, the satisfaction rate of plastic molds made in China in the mainland market has been less than 74%, among which the satisfaction rate of large, precision and long-life molds is even lower, which is estimated to be less than 60%. At the same time, the industrial developed countries are accelerating the transfer of molds to China, international procurement is more and more, the international market prospects are promising. Market demand is strong, the production development is difficult to keep up with the situation, supply will continue for a period of time.

(5) It will take time to solve the problems of system and talent

In the socialist market economy, competitive industries, especially those industries that rely on special users and need to produce single pieces like molds, the original systems and operating mechanisms such as state-owned and collective ownership have become more and more unsuitable. The quantity and quality of talents also cannot keep up with the rapid development of the industry.
