What are the characteristics of precision injection moulds

With the continuous development of society, people's requirements for plastic products are more and more high, precision injection molding came into being. In addition to the use of high-precision injection molding machines, plastic molds need to be high-precision for precision injection molding. Here we will briefly introduce the four characteristics of precision injection molding mold.

1, wear resistance

When the blank is plastic denaturing in the mold cavity, it moves and slides along the outside of the mold cavity, causing intense friction between the outside of the mold cavity and the blank, thus causing the mold to take effect due to wear and tear. The wear resistance of the material is one of the most fundamental and important functions of the die. Hardness is an important factor affecting wear resistance. Under normal circumstances, the higher the hardness of the mold machine, the smaller the wear quantity, the better the wear resistance. In addition, the wear resistance is also independent of the type, number, state, size and dispersion of the carbide.

2. Strength and toughness

Most of the premise of the mold is very intractable, and some often suffer a large strike load, which leads to brittle fracture. In order to avoid the whole mold suddenly brittle break when things happen, precision hardware mold should have higher strength and toughness. The toughness of the die depends heavily on the carbon content, grain size and structure of the material - precision die manufacturing.

3, fatigue fracture function

In the process of mold affairs, under the influence of cyclic stress for a long time, it often leads to fatigue and fracture. The situation has small energy repeatedly hit fatigue fracture, tensile fatigue fracture war fatigue fracture and tortuous fatigue fracture. The fatigue fracture function of the die depends on its strength, toughness, hardness, and the content of inclusions.

4, low temperature function

When the temperature of the mold is higher, the hardness and strength will be reduced, resulting in late wear or plastic deformation of the mold. Therefore, the precision injection mold should have higher anti-tempering stability to ensure that the mold has higher hardness and strength at the temperature of the matter.
