1. Design, manufacture and inspection of special measuring tools

First of all, enterprises should be based on the machining and measurement needs of mechanical parts, by the design department to design a special quantity check. In the process of design, design review, verification, design confirmation, etc., should be carried out, and then according to ISO9000 standard documents and management methods. If the design drawing needs to be changed, it must be passed through the metering department and manufacturing department.

The special measuring tools made according to the design drawing shall be inspected by the quality control department using the full inspection method. Those who pass the inspection shall engrave the serial number, verification number and relevant measurement size on the steel seal, issue a certificate of qualification and then send it to the measuring tool storehouse.

2. Use and weekly inspection of special measuring tools

When the user department receives the new special measuring tools from the measuring tools warehouse, it shall be checked and confirmed by the measuring room, registered, changed the card and issued the certificate of qualification before it can be used. The inspection date, verification period and validity period shall be indicated on the inspection certificate, so as to be included in the normal weekly inspection plan. The length of verification period should be determined according to the use frequency, use environment and the structure of the measuring tool itself.

3. Daily management of special measuring tools

The collection of special measuring instruments from the metering room must be registered and entered in the account in time, and under the management of special personnel, and the loan and return system shall be strictly observed. The management personnel shall send the special quantity check tools for inspection according to the weekly inspection plan and exchange them for a new certificate.

If a measuring instrument is found to be abnormal or can not be confirmed during use, it should be sent to the measuring room for detection and confirmation in time. The user should be responsible for the daily maintenance of the measuring instrument. Relevant departments should also carry out supervision and assessment.

4. Scrap, recovery and utilization of special measuring tools

The scrap of the special measuring tool shall be approved and recovered by the measuring room to prevent it from flowing into the production site.

For some special checking tools because of complex design, manufacturing trouble or high cost, and only because of a few parts do not meet the requirements and scrap, or some after repair and grinding can be re-used, in order to reduce waste, enterprises can be specially handled by professional and technical personnel. If it can be reused, it must be tested and approved by the measuring room and issued a certificate of qualification.
