What happens when the temperature is too high in injection molding?

As we all know, in the process of injection molding, temperature is a very key factor, its level will directly affect the quality of injection molding workpiece, therefore, each injection molding processing enterprises have a set of very effective management methods for injection molding processing temperature.


So, injection molding process temperature is too high in the end what are some disadvantages? And how do we deal with the problem of too much heat? Let's take a brief look at it.


1, make the mechanical thermal deformation: hydraulic components in the thermal expansion coefficient of different moving parts due to its smaller and stuck, cause action failure, affect the transmission accuracy of the hydraulic system, resulting in parts of the quality of work worse.


2, reduce the viscosity of the oil: high temperature rise of the injection molding machine will lead to lower viscosity of the oil, increased leakage, pump volume efficiency and the efficiency of the whole system will be significantly reduced. As the viscosity of the oil decreases, the oil film of the sliding valve and other moving parts becomes thin and cut, and the friction resistance increases, leading to aggravated wear.


3. Deformation of rubber seals: too high temperature rise of injection molding machine will deform rubber seals, accelerate aging and failure, reduce sealing performance and service life, and cause leakage.


4. Accelerate oil oxidation and metamorphism: high temperature rise of injection molding machine will accelerate oil oxidation and metamorphism, precipitate asphalt substances, and reduce the service life of hydraulic oil. The precipitate blocks the damping orifice and gap type valve port, resulting in the pressure valve stuck and unable to act, the metal pipeline elongation and bending, or even rupture.


5. Lead to poorer working quality of components: too high temperature rise of injection molding machine will lead to poorer working quality of components, escape of dissolved air in oil, cavitation, resulting in lower working performance of the hydraulic system.
